Palazzo Manfredi - is a wonderful boutique hotel overlooking the Gladiator training school ruins and the Colosseum. There are no other hotels in the area with a rooftop terrace and restaurant with a view that matches this. I stayed in a prestige room (no Colosseum view) which has a fantastic bed, luxurious sheets, Bulgari bath products and was greeted with a bottle of prosecco and a fruit basket.
The hotel offers 16 rooms (Classic, Prestige, Deluxe and a Junior Suite). There is one room which is handicapped accessible and at the moment the restaurant on the top floor is not accessible by elevator. They are working on a solution to this so everyone will be able to enjoy the spectacular view. The restaurant, aRoma is a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner overlooking the Colosseum. The hotel's staff is extremely detail oriented, attentive and very friendly. Giacomo and Bruno at the front desk took very good care of me during my stay and showed me a few of the available rooms for my clients. This is a great hotel for history lovers who don't mind being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown city of Rome but wish for a boutique hotel in true Roman style. Ask me about The Palazzo Manfredi as I am able to get you a great deal for your stay here. From the front door of the hotel
